The Ecuadorian sign language

We are Antonia and Anna from the University of Erfurt and we are learning Ecuadorian sign language together with Josué, a deaf boy from San Pedro, and his family. We do this by sending each other short video messages in which we use sign language to talk about our everyday lives. We get very creative: any topic and any story are welcome. Most of the signs are from the Ecuadorian sign language, some are created together in dialogue and get their meaning from us. In order to learn, secure, and actively use the signs, a sign card will be created for each sign. We have just met and are very much looking forward to getting to know each other and learning lots of new signs!
