COMUNICACIÓN ALTERNATIVA
Mi nombre es Leonie, tengo 27 años y
terminé mi curso de profesora de educación especial en septiembre. Después de terminar mi licenciatura, ya tenía planificada una pasantía en Cerleco, que lamentablemente no se pudo realizar
debido a la pandemia. Antes de comenzar mis prácticas en
mayo de 2024, quería conocer por fin el proyecto. En los últimos 2 meses he trabajado con Miriam, entre otros, con una persona autista de 23 años. Como le encanta la música, creamos una forma
alternativa de comunicación haciendo música juntos. Otro objetivo fue apoyar el trabajo con una niña de dos años con discapacidad auditiva y visual.
Lo más destacado para mí fue la fiesta de Navidad con todas las familias que están en Cerleco. Por primera vez en tres años esto podría volver a ocurrir. Hubo bailes, cantos, regalos y comida:
una fiesta ruidosa, caótica y maravillosa y para mí la oportunidad de verlos a todos nuevamente.
He podido aprender mucho en los últimos dos meses. Tengo un gran respeto por la dedicación con la que Miriam, Ligia y Pilar apoyaron a las familias y agradezco haber podido ser parte de este
proyecto.
ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATION PROJECT
My name is Leonie, I am 27 years old and I finished my special education teacher training in September. After finishing my degree, I had already planned an internship at Cerleco, which unfortunately could not be realised due to the pandemic. Before I started my internship in
May 2024, I wanted to finally get to know the project. In the last 2 months I have worked with Miriam, among others, with a 23 year old autistic person. As she loves music, we created an alternative way of communication by making music together. Another goal was to support the work with a two year old hearing and visually impaired girl.
The highlight for me was the Christmas party with all the families who are in Cerleco. For the first time in three years this could happen again. There was dancing, singing, presents and food: a noisy, chaotic and wonderful party and for me the opportunity to see them all again.
